Black Friday Flops in Hastings

Black Friday is known as one of the busiest shopping days of the year for many, however in the south coastal town of Hastings the shops were no more buzzing than any other day of the year.
There were no crowds queueing out of any shop, and no rush among shoppers. In fact, some were not even aware of the term 'Black Friday'.

It is thought that the quiet town was a result of the equally reasonable online deals, with many choosing to opt to stay in the warm and catch the bargains with their computers at home.
